Registration Information
Registration is OPEN for In-Person and OPEN for Virtual.
This year we have two types of registration: In Person and Virtual. In person registration will be available at the regular rate of USD 600 up to 2 August and then at the late rate of USD 750 after that. Virtual registration will be USD 50 and will give access to the BigBlueButton platform for a two way A/V connection into the conference. We will also be live streaming all our tracks for free and viewers of the live stream will be able to use the matrix chat to interact with the in person and virtual audiences.
NEW REGISTRANTS PLEASE NOTE: The Linux Foundation registration system isn't integrated with the rest of the conference and credentials are transferred manually in batches, so it may be a few days after registration before yours are active in the BBB front end.
To register to attend, please choose:
We will be offering a hobbyist discount of 50% on in-person registration for people not employed in a Linux or Linux related capacity. If you think you qualify, please send details to contact@linuxplumbersconf.org for the hobbyist discount code.
The Cvent registration system we use is now integrated with the Linux Foundation Single sign-on (SSO) platform. After clicking on a link above, you will be prompted to log in with your existing SSO account or to create a new one.
If you have forgotten the password for an existing account, reset it by clicking “Forgot Password.”
You will also be able to use 3rd party authentication providers (Gmail, GitHub, LinkedIn, and Facebook) to automatically generate your SSO Account.
If you experience issues, click the “Contact Us” link on the SSO page to connect with the Linux Foundation support team.
To Request a Letter for a Visa Application
First, you must be registered above for the In Person event, then you should apply from your LF Individual Dashboard (LF account required). For questions, please contact visaletters@linuxfoundation.org.
Hotel and Travel
We share the room blocks for the Open Source Summit and co-located events. Please refer to Open Source Summit hotel information page for further information.
Free to Stream and Chat
Most of the conference will be live streamed at a URL which will be posted just before the conference opens. Although you won't be able to do two way audio and video interaction at this level, you can still join the Linux Plumbers conference chat system to ask questions provided you have your own matrix account. Simply head to the LPC2024 space (also live a few days before the conference) on :lpc.events. Live stream viewers please remember that while we make every effort to reduce the lag, there can be an up to 30 second delay due to streaming technologies.
