LPC Slides submission guide

This is the fourth year that LPC is ran using Indico as its central online service. Indico has being managed by LWN.net on behalf of the Linux Plumbers Conference committee.

Please provide a draft of your slides by September 16th 2021. Your final slides must be uploaded to Indico by end of day on September 19th.

The LPC committee recommends you uploaded your slides as a single PDF document for best compatibility.

My Contributions

Once you have submitted a LPC refereed Track talk abstract that has been accepted, your default view once logged in will have additional menu entries.

In order to manage your talk, you will see a new “My Conference” > “My Contributions” menu entry.

Your talk will show on the “My Contributions” view as follows (Using the oomd talk by Daniel and Tejun as example):

From here, you are able to upload your presentation material to the site.

Please click on the “pencil” edit button on the right of the “Presentation Materials” header to upload your slides to the site (highlighted in green here below):

The LPC committee requests that you upload your files to the LPC site no later than end of day on September 19th.

Your presentation will be uploaded for you into the online conferencing platform (BigBlueButton) before the start of your talk/topic.

Please upload your presentation as a single PDF document.

Simply upload your files (do not worry about the “Folder” selection) and please leave it unprotected.

If you can not or do not wish to upload your presentation material, you can add a link instead.

Again, please consider uploading if you would like the moderators to assist with uploading your slides/presentation into BBB on the day of your talk/topic.
