Description
his is a gathering to discuss Linux-kernel RCU internals.
The exact topics depend on all of you, the attendees. In 2018, the focus was entirely on the interaction between RCU and the -rt tree. In 2019, the main gathering had me developing a trivial implementation of RCU on a whiteboard, coding-interview style, complete with immediate feedback on the inevitable bugs. In 2021, this was a Q&A session, in which (among other things) I gave a quick verbal overview of how preemptible RCU differs from classic RCU.
Come and see what is in store in 2021!
