DAMON is a kernel subsystem for efficient data access/attributes monitoring and memory operations. It received many updates in last year. Many more updates are in progress. Multiple ideas for future works are flooding. In this session, multiple people who work on DAMON will present and discuss what changes have recently made, what changes are ongoing, and what should be the next work.
Topics would include:
- Extending DAMON above page table accessed bit
- DAMON-based dynamic memory interleaving
- DAMON for Hugepages
- DAMON and AI-focused cloud
