Description

This is a follow-up to "Methodology and Practice in Observing Kernel Networking" in 2025[1], which introduced why a solid methodology is essential before building a monitoring system and how to implement it in a real world. In this session, the concept of "agentic" is further proposed to achieve a truly automatically monitoring powered by an AI inference module. However, before utilizing AI, there are three prerequisites must be prioritized: 1) an extremely transparent, lightweight framework[2], 2) clean && high-quality data, 3) a strongly isolated and safe environment. We will demonstrate why the preparations are required, how the paradigm has been shifted, and what an agentic monitoring system looks like at Tencent.
